As designated redeveloper of the Churchill Millstone Redevelopment Area in Franklin Township, RPM was charged with bringing new vitality and cohesiveness to a neighborhood characterized by disparate industrial, commercial, and residential uses.  Completed in 2009, Berry Street Commons represents the first stage of this effort, creating 94 new apartments in two buildings. Incorporating energy-efficient design, solar panels on the roof and other green features, Berry Street Commons was designated by the US Green Building Council as the first LEED Platinum building in New Jersey. The project brings high-density, sustainable living to a redevelopment area previously characterized by low-density single-family homes, vacant land, and industrial uses. Project features include energy efficient appliances, preserved wetlands, a community room, and underground parking.
