Following Dr. King Plaza, Brick Church Commons was the second phase of a long-term project to revitalize the downtown of East Orange, New Jersey. Three buildings arranged in a U-shape create a housing community that is private yet connected to the downtown, enabling residents of the 104 units an opportunity to easily access nearby community resources, transportation, and local businesses.  Brick Church Commons was the first RPM rental project to include primarily market-rate rentals.  The project features 27,000 square feet of commercial spaces that have contributed to the vitality of this downtown business corridor. An underground garage provides parking provides for residents and the interior courtyard serves as parking for the commercial spaces.
