Increasing numbers of boarded-up homes dotted Fairview’s winding streets at the end of the 1990’s, prompting a group of community leaders to fight for the redevelopment of Fairview Village, built as a planned community in 1919.  Selected as Redeveloper in 2002, RPM responded by setting a goal of renovating over 100 homes throughout the Fairview neighborhood to revive the real estate market and create new home ownership options.  Since 2003 RPM has renovated over 100 houses throughout the neighborhood and sold them to first-time homebuyers.  These single-family home renovations have included the complete replacement of the interior and all building systems while maintaining intact the historic features on the exterior – and buyers have brought new life to this charming historic community.
