RPM Development was designated in 2008 by the Franklin Housing Authority as their developer partner on the transformation of two FHA sites.  Parkside Family Housing – the second stage of this redevelopment process – will replace aging housing authority units and create high-quality affordable housing for low and very low-income households, serving as an anchor for the revitalization of the Renaissance Redevelopment Area of Franklin Township, NJ.  The project will demolish existing buildings and redevelop a five acre site into thirty-five (35) two family buildings of a variety of duplex layout types. Driveways will provide private parking for tenants, and every tenant will have a small private outdoor space opening onto a landscaped common green space.  The buildings will feature an energy-efficient design using sustainable construction materials in accordance with the EPA Energy-Star Program and LEED requirements.  A 2,000 square foot standalone community building will house laundry facilities and provide community space where residents will have access to a wide range of on-site social services.
